“Fairly typical ibis hotel, although with budget and regular on same property. WiFi was really good, room was clean, and views are nice. Has the typical space age bathroom squeezed into a corner space. The desk/bar is open 24 hrs, and you can get ice from them. They serve breakfast, but there are also plenty of options nearby. There is a second elevator on the 'budget' side. The main elevator gets very busy, and the other seems rarely used. The stairs are very wide and easy too. Our bed had a flat sheet over a plastic cover, which was not comfortable. Thankfully the room had AC to counter the heat off the plastic cover. The construction of ibis hotels is not always quiet, and our room let bumps through the walls and ceiling during the night.”
“Excellent service. I am travelling solo with a large trailer so the gentleman on reception came with me to show me the best route in from the motorway where i had parked temporarily, and held the traffic while i manoeuvred into their large vehicle parking space. The hotel itself is clean and fresh and a very easy walk across the harbour to the old town and beach, and my room can even see the ocean”
